Training for International Medical Personnel

The first seed medical practitioner arrived in Taiwan at the beginning of year 2000, commencing the NCF's international seed medical practitioner training project. Over the past dacades, over 180 medical practitioner from 23 countries and about 30 hospitals, including plastic surgeons, anesthetists, orthodontists, speech therapists, nurses, and social workers, has completed training in Taiwan. These seed practitioners has taken root and blossomed in their home countries. Seed practitioners from the Philippines, Cambodia, China, Indonesia, Pakistan, Mongolia and Vietnam have formed craniofacial medical teams and centers. They continue to spread the idea of cleft lip and palate medical team treatment to different corners of the world.
