Bibi was referred to NCF by the local Drs. – Dr. Amir Taimur Khan and Dr. Tariq Iqbal. Being accompanied by her parents, Bibi was successfully had her reconstructive surgeries done in Taiwan in 2011 and 2012. The surgeries were done by a worldwide known plastic surgeon, Dr. Philip, Kuo- Ting Chen (Director of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department CGMH). Rice Donation Flood Relief Program

From 2010 to 2012, Pakistan was hit by devastating flooding 3 years in a row which violently swept across the country and caused severe damages and thousands of people were displaced. Accordingly, NCF launched an immediate response to provide aid by connecting the private and public sectors domestically and internationally. “Love from Taiwan” Flood Relief is the international partnership program trying to help the flood affected Pakistani people by rice donation. It is estimated that thousands of Pakistani families were benefited from the NCF Humanitarian Aid since 2010.

This coming June, NCF is going to have a field visit in Pakistan, to assess the programs NCF with CLAPP cooperates with and evaluate the results. That would , include the Cleft Care Program, Rice Donation Program and follow-ups of Laiba Bibi’s life adjustment.
