The Hope

One month year old bilateral cleft lip and palate baby was abandoned by his mom at the National Pediatric Hospital.

▲ Hope was abandoned by his month at the National Pediatric Hospital.

Expecting his mom would change her mind and came back for her son, the staffs at the National Pediatric Hospital, Surgery Department had been waiting for his mom’s showing up for few days. Sadly, the staffs still didn’t hear anything from the mom after the waiting.

Alin, the NCF Seed Coordinator, discussed with her colleagues and decided to find the baby boy a home. “HOPE” is a name given by Alin, wishing the name could give him Hope.

Information of HOPE has been posting; finally a Charity Organization called Children In Families promises to accept HOPE and help him to find a Cambodian foster family. Also, HOPE is arranged to have a cleft lip surgery on 2nd April this year.

What a wonderful story. Thanks for everyone who is involved and share the Hope.
